Auto Lift System Touch Iron and Glide Smart Touch Handle

Touch the handle and the patented Auto-Lift System lowers the unit onto fabric for smooth comfortable ironing. Let go of the Smart Touch™ handle, and the unit rises onto retractable Auto-Lift spacers (feet), protecting your ironing projects from the iron's soleplate and heat. The Auto-Lift spacers remain cool; no need to tilt the iron to a vertical position. Iron remains horizontal reducing strain on your wrist, arm, and shoulder. When resting on its feet, this iron won't snag or burn even the most delicate fabric. The pointed tip is perfect for detailing around closures, cuffs, and pockets. Weighs 4.2 lbs. 1440 watts.
